About us

We are a family business which is now in the 3rd generation.

After originally producing exclusively vegetable-tanned leather, today we can also produce combined tanned and chrome-tanned leather.

The hides are tanned in drums according to proven formulas, and are then retanned, coloured and greased.

In a stuffing drum we have the possibility to infuse the leather using natural fats like beef fat and cod liver oil. An ancient process used by very few tanneries today.

These days we produce leather mainly for leather goods, horse-riding articles, orthopaedic articles, technical leather goods and vegetable-tanned furniture leather, tanned either naturally, or using an aniline-tanning method. For these articles we select and use exclusively the best European raw materials.
